Allison remains licensed to practice massage therapy in the state of Virginia by completing the necessary requirements for biannual renewal. In late 2023, Allison received her certificate in Ayurvedic Nutrition.
In early 2021, Allison became a Certified Yomassage Practitioner with honors. Allison started a new blog about, wait for it-- not wellness, but swellness! She used to blog about health-related issues many years ago, but they sadly got deleted. Swellness Vibes is open to including other wordsmiths who want to share their perspectives on all things swell. www.SwellnessVibes.com. She continued to offer Zoom yoga classes.
Allison completed her Yoga Teacher Training through Beyond Asana HYM's training program in April and became a RYT-200 through Yoga Alliance in May. She offered almost weekly classes via Zoom.
She offered bodywork services at Hot (or not) Yoga & Massage Studio in Hidenwood, Newport News. She offered energy theory and Reiki classes yearly at the studio.
She graduated from the Cayce-Reilly School of Massotherapy and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in Virginia Beach, adding massage and other methodologies to her services. Studies included cranio-sacral therapy, Jin Shin Do and meditation.
She finished co-teaching the almost year-long training program at the Reiki Clinic of Sole Therapy in Georgia. She practiced Reiki bi-weekly at Piedmont Fayette Hospital's Cancer Wellness Center. She began to focus more on her private practice inside Hands on Healing in Fayetteville, Georgia. She received a Certificate of Proficiency in Foot Reflexology from Roz Zollinger of The Heal Center Atlanta.
She became a Reiki Master through Denise Davis of Sole Therapy and turned her attention to co-running the Reiki Clinic. Allison co- taught Reiki classes and continued to offer Reiki (distance and in-person), on occasion, in her private practice. She offered classes on other topics, including essential oils and music therapy.
She received her Master's Degree in Holistic Health through the now-defunct AIHT. She also learned Reiki through Sole Therapy, practicing on friends and family. She volunteered once a week in the Reiki Clinic and also took meditation and energy medicine classes locally.
She began distance studying Holistic Health through AIHT. Courses included aromatherapy, herbology, light therapy, energy tapping, etc.
Allison worked as a Chiropractic Assistant, finally finding some language for the body's innate ability to help heal itself. She took classes on esoteric sciences (astrology, parapsychology, etc).
