Manifestations, Angel Wings & Moths, OH MY!

Haven’t posted in eons.. I know.

Many changes have occurred in my life over the course of this year… it’s kept me busy, distracted, yet I think the overall outcomes have been extremely positive. It’s just hard to remind yourself in the moment that everything’s OK… Just for today… do not worry. Ahhh – those pesky Reiki Ideals coming back to bite ya in the butt, over & over again! (ONLY kidding. You know I LOVE them to the Supermoon 2012 & back!) (And as an aside.. Reiki is SUCH a way of life. Ahem.)

At any rate, here are a few things that have occurred, where I’m headed, plus some fun, random pieces of info, in no particular order:

  • I started practicing Reiki at the Cancer Wellness Center in Piedmont Fayette Hospital in April. I have met such a wonderful grouping of outstanding individuals – I am humbled, blessed and honored to be a part of the Center as well as everyone’s lives, as well as being able to share something I’m oNeGaZiLlIoN% behind (uuuuum – that’d be Reiki, d’oh).
  • I manifested a garden plot @ the local Community Garden this week! LOL. It was one of those manifestations that I almost missed… luckily, I sat with it, and realized it was an opportunity too good to pass up. Can’t wait to see how it plays out! Today I get my plot… :)
  • I realize I haven’t written too much *on* the blog yet, but I’m co-writing a blog about my lovely-yet-sadly for me-transitioned kitty, Fiyero. It’s been a healing process. Reiki was a HUGE part of his transition, and I can’t wait to share it with the WWW. But… first the fun tales of his existence! Fiyero represented so many wonderful things, least of which is the reminder of how easy it is to experience JOY on a daily basis, daily moment… Joy is something I plan on branding on my person on the first day of Summer… Yes, ladies & germs, another tattoo… like I need one! (It’s gonna be in Hawaiian!)
  • My childhood kitty transitioned on my Grandma’s birthday this year. He was OVER NINETEEN years old! WOW!
  • My pup got her summer-cut a couple of weeks ago… She looks funny.
  • I am no longer co-running the Reiki Clinic @ Sole Therapy, nor practicing or teaching there. Sadness. Luckily, I get to keep the memories forever, as well as the de-lish-us people! Lose the space, keep the people. Good_enough_for_me! Speaking of… isn’t there an ACIM meeting there this week?? Hopefully I can go. :)
  • My LOVELY joyful moth incarnation is BACK this year @ the shop! I hope he’s still around next week. Who is this moth? (Mind you, I have NO idea how long moths live for.) But the shop creates a moth, every year, that zigzags crazily around the dogs, around me, TRULY TRULY TRULY! playing with each of us, dogs & humans alike. I love this guy! Not too many a moth willing to take the time to play with ye.
  • My angels have been dropping reminders all OVER the place lately.. yes… yes… guys… it’s all GOOD. Thank you. A sweet little wing appeared inside my apartment the other day. I placed it beside Fiyero’s earthly remains.
  • I received my Certificate in Reflexology at the end of April! Woohooooo to that! Met some awesome people, and found a modality that I truly didn’t think I would enjoy…but enjoyed. No idea where it’s taking me, but the knowledge OF it… PRICELESS.
  • It appears my right IT Band has FINALLY healed enough for me to run again… small distances, of course… yay! 3 – 5 milers, here I come. It’s only *been* FIVE STINKING MONTHS!!! Wow. Time flies. I’m *hoping* my lower back pain continues to stay away as well… that… not so fun… at all.
  • I think I’ve babbled enough. Excuse myne typos.

Hail from the muddy banks of the … back of the office

The worst part of NOT having the internet is my lack of accessibility to blogging! BOOOOO!

At any rate…

REIKI I CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT! Micah LeMessurier @ I are offering a co-taught Reiki I Class on November 19th. Details to follow… Email or Call if you want more information for now (info@nanilotus.com or 404.668.7511).

Nani’s Fall/Winter Blending Class was cancelled due to lack of interest… but we moved it to Micah’s house where Leslie (a Reiki II who practices in the FREE clinic offered on Wednesdays @ Sole Therapy 678.770.9594), Micah & I played in outside-of-classroom constraints, and just got to mixin’, blendin’ & goofin’ off.. Tried a body scrub recipe in the shower this morning that was faaaaaantastic! Very simple – oats, corn meal, essential oils & water…

Am thinking about re-offering the Music Therapy class from a couple months ago… another Reiki II in the clinic, Bonnie, wants me to! But srrrsly… you need to put out there what it is you want to learn & share, otherwise I’ll never know.. sadness ensues. Tears populate my face!

Marathon Countdown… less than 3 weeks!

Still reading the book about crystals & Edgar Cayce – lovin’ it too, by the way – it’s what caused me to go to Phoenix & Dragon and go stone-crazy with one of my friends… it’s like revisiting with old friends, speaking of friends… spending time with crystals is like pulling the perfect sweatshirt on…

Oooh, so rambling today. The crazy is settling in.

Congrats to my mom for getting remarried today!

Neither her nor her hubby-to-be want to make a big deal outta this… but my BFF and I sent them some things in the mail to celebrate their goofy union anyhow.

Of course, smart alec that I am, here’re what the cards read:

Blog Hiatus

Hey, all.. I just wanted to let you know that my blogs have become more intermittent because I no longer have access to the internet @ mi casa.

I am still reading the first book in my gem class (because I was otherwise occupied with Reiki business), and haven’t finished If the Buddha Got Stuck, but have since moved onto If the Buddha Dated (mua ha ha ha!).

You know.. ’cause I usually gotta read about 10 books @ one time.. Gee, I wonder why I never finish anything! LOL.

TOMORROW – the Reiki Masters in Training have sessions available (and every Wednesday!) so give ‘em a call so you can get scheduled for a FREEEEEEE 30 minute session. Call 678-770-9594 for an appointment.

With Reiki classes slowing down for the year, I can focus on the Master Program & school – not to mention work, training for that pesky marathon and whatever else I’ve got going on! Life is about movement, right.. be fluid.

So, for the week, that’s my request of you – be fluid in all that you do, think & feel! Life is constant change, constant momement, constant flux. We control nothing! Let that be freeing rather than daunting.
